As the APC celebrate its one year anniversary of their triumph at the last presidential election, the pains and hardship faced by Nigerians are manifestly obvious due to resentment across tribe, religion, ethnicity, political affiliation and sex.

President Muhammadu Buhari |
The untold hardship, unabated as a result of the poor economic managers of the Federal government to revive the ailing economy has made those gullible Nigerians who considered and accepted the APC
campaign promises by exercising their right to vote to have a discerning view towards the APC capability.
While I’ll give the President a pass mark on some of its proactive measures such as the one side fight against corruption and reconnecting Nigeria to the Global community through his frequent visit, that had engulfed millions of Nigerians currency at a time his ministers are saying the country is broke.
As a party that rose to the center on much campaign promises of change, one had thought that the APC has a clear ability to live up to its promise. But it It’s disheartening to note that since inception, the APC lacks a clear vision to pilot the affairs of the state but has resorted to propaganda and denials against the previous government and Nigerians.
One of such propaganda is the continuous blackmail against the PDP, blaming it’s failure on a party that left power a year ago as if we are in a state of electioneering. The rot in the system is acknowledged by Nigerians and that spurred the decision for change.
The propaganda is gradually shifting towards the electorate as they have begun the denials of campaign promises. One of such denial was made by Mr. Garba Shehu who was the Director and media of the APC
Presidential campaign organisation. He denied the authenticity of a document titled ‘My Covenant with Nigerians,’ which was purportedly signed by Buhari and posted on the APC website. He also went further
and denied another document titled “One hundred things Buhari will do in one hundred days.’
Another denial was made by the President in Qatar, where he said the five thousand naira promised to the downtrodden Nigerians will no longer be paid.
It is hypocritical of the APC, having allowed the said documents detailing Buhari’s promise to be flying around the internet throughout the electioneering only to rubbish the document when it is time for reckoning.
The hardship faced by Nigerians and the constant denial of the federal government, Nigerians are of the view that the government has not taken into consideration its plight in other for it to be address. This is because the government decision to live above the rule of law by disobeying Court orders in the case of Col. Sambo Dasuki and the IPOB leader Dr. Nnamdi Kanu is in contrast to the oath of office he took on the promise of constant flow of PMS to all part of Nigeria is also in contrast to the government superintending over the longest ques in Nigerian history.
Protection of lives and properties against the kid gloves adopted in dealing with the northern extremist committing genocide against the south.
Reduction of PMS to 40 naira per liter against the announcement of the removal of subsidy which has no doubt added more misery to the ordinary Nigerians, resulting to wide spread condemnation, anger and
the strike action embarked upon by the NLC.
Nigerians had never have it this tough. Therefore, the one year of the APC is characterised of hardship, propaganda and denials which is not worth celebrating but to confined Nigerians to a state of solemnization hoping for the better part of its second year.
I therefore score the APC led Federal government a degree in failure because they stopped from reneging on its campaign promises.
