Child Custody Face-Off: Rick Ross And Baby Mama, Tia Kemp In Court

American rapper, Rick Ross and his baby mama Tia Kemp are at a face-off again. 

Last month, Tia filed a lawsuit against Ross claiming that their
10-year-old son William Robert III suffered emotionally because of the
rapper’s absence in the boy’s life. She also stated that their son was
performing poorly in school as a result of this and was in need of
therapy and tutoring which Ross refused to pay for.

Rossey has now responded to the suit by saying Tia has refused to let
him see their son for a while now. In an exclusive interview with
Bossip, the MMG boss claims that his estranged baby mama
completely blocked him and his family from seeing his son and that his
poor performance in school was news to him. He also stated that he
hardly communicates with his son or Tia and doesn’t even know what
school the boy goes to.

“I never had a discussion with Tia regarding my sons’s academic
performance,” Ross wrote in court documents obtained by BOSSIP. The
document also revealed that Tia failed to provide Ross with equal access
to their son’s school or academic schedule.

Rick currently pays Tia $2,800 per month and he is insisting that the
money is enough for the child support. He also maintained that his
income had barely changed since they negotiated their last child support
agreement last year, when Kemp took Ross to court and asked a judge to
increase the money to $20,000 per month.

Rick Ross complained that Kemp occasionally talked trash about him to
their son which has alienated the boy from him. Ross has taken Tia to
court and asked a judge to toss her money demands and also pay his
lawyer’s fees. The case has been ordered into mediation.
