Hushpuppi’s
legal representative, Gal Pissetzky of Pissetzky & Berliner has
come out to clear the air on the accusations against the 38 year old.

The
lawyer, Gal Pissetzky of Pissetzky & Berliner who was hired to
defend Hushpuppi has disclosed that he is not a fraudster.

Filani News recalls that when he was arrested, 13 luxury cars, estimated
at 35 million Dirham (N3.7 billion) were recovered from his house.

Defending him, Gal Pissetzky of Pissetzky & Berliner told forbes that Hushpuppi was running a legitimate business as a realtor and he did not take part in any scam or fraud.

“Absolutely
not guilty of (the) charges they are accusing him of,” adding, “(he)
was running a legitimate business and a very legitimate Instagram
account and did not take part in any scam or fraud.”

Asked
how Abbas paid for his lifestyle, Pissetzky said, “He’s an
entrepreneur. He has real estate involvement … (he’s) an Instagram
personality. He was promoting brands and that’s how he was very
legitimately making his money.”

Recall that Hushpuppi who
is known for always showing off his wealth and luxurious lifestyle on
social media was arrested by Dubai Police on June 10, 2020. He is
presently in United States facing criminal charges for conspiring with
his friends to launder hundreds of millions of dollars from business
email compromise (BEC) frauds and other scams.
