Steps To Move WhatsApp Chats From One Device to Another
Let
Phone where you have WhatsApp chats = A
Phone where you want to move WhatsApp chat = B
Take
the phone A (where you have WhatsApp chats). Open the WhatsApp app and
go to the settings. Select Backup Now under the Conversations. This will
create a new backup record of your chats.
Open the File Manager and go to the internal storage of your phone (A) there find the WhatsApp folder.
In
the WhatsApp folder, you have to find the Database folder. It is
normally the second folder just copy the whole folder and paste it into
the SD Card of your phone. If you have not put any SD Card then you can
use a computer.
Now you have to put that SD Card into
the other phone B (where you were wanted to get the WhatsApp messages).
But if you had used the computer then connect the phone (B) to a
computer and copy the Database folder to that phone (B).
When you
have Database folder to the other Android phone (B) just uninstall the
WhatsApp from that phone (B). Move the copied Database folder to the
WhatsApp folder of the device (B). Delete existing folder.
Install WhatsApp app again to your phone
(B) after installing the app Launch it now it will ask to recover the
backup the chats just click on it. That’s it you have successfully moved
the WhatsApp chats/Messages/Conversation from one android phone to
another.
But there is a problem this will
include only WhatsApp chats not images or videos if you want to move
images and video then you have to copy the whole WhatsApp folder from
the phone (A) to the phone (B).
